Sumida Kanato is a high school student who participates in the Desire Grand Prix as Kamen Rider DaPaan.

Uses the Desire Driver with Raise Buckles to transform.
DaPaan is based on a panda. His name is an anagram for "panda", except the "a" in Paan sounds a bit longer.
Uses the Magnum Buckle as his Raise Buckle of choice. Has excellent marksmanship with the Magnum Shooter 40X.
