History

Hino Eiji is a son of a politician. As a kid, he traveled the world with his grandfather. While in Africa trying to raise money for helping poor people, he was caught in a civil war that was funded by one of his fundraisers. While trying to protect a small village, Eiji befriends a little girl but ends up losing her as he saw her being caught in a missile barrage while unable to do anything. His family paid a ransom to get him back safely and left Africa with a group of men from Eiji's family. The event left him being unable to desire anything except for tomorrow's underwear. He returns to Japan and wanders around taking any part-time job and sleeping anywhere that he could.

While working as a security for Kougami's Art Museum, Eiji finds a Taka Core Medal after the Greeeds were resurrected and takes it since he thought it was his pay. He encounters Ankh who is just a right arm at this point and wants the Taka Medal back since it is a part of his being. When the Kamakiri Yummy appears, Eiji helps Ankh fending it off which Ankh gives him the Tora and Batta Core Medals along with the OOO Driver. Using the three Core Medals on hand, Eiji transforms into Kamen Rider OOO and defeats the Kamakiri Yummy.

Eiji forms an uneasy alliance with Ankh which he helps Ankh gather Cell and Core Medals while saving people with the power of OOO. Also Eiji tries to keep Izumi Hina from her brother Izumi Shingo since Ankh took over his body due to him being at near-death. Eventually Eiji couldn't keep Hina away from Ankh and gets involved with them. He also joins forces with the Kougami Foundation which he gives them a cut of the Cell Medals in exchange of using their equipment. Eventually five of the Purple Medals that were unsealed by Maki entered into Eiji's body due to his potential as OOO.

The Purple Medals causes Eiji to detect Yummy and later on Greeeds but as time goes on, he slowly becomes a Greeed. Eventually it reaches a breaking point when Maki inserts two more Purple Medals into Eiji and completes the Greeedification. In order to control the Purple Medals, Eiji need to remember his desire which was power but he wanted to keep the Purple Medals so it didn't stop the process. In the final battle, Eiji defeats Maki using the Tajador Combo's Giga Scan powered by the Purple Medals. He manages to hold on to half of the Taka Medal that contained Ankh's essence. He journeys the world working for the Kougami Foundation to find a way to restore Ankh's broken Taka Medal.

Eiji finds out in Megamax that he does find a way to restore Ankh's Medal as Ankh came back from the future to help him to deal with Kamen Rider Poseidon.

Personality

Eiji is a free spirit and a bit clueless at times with situations involving love. He initially wanted to help poor people around the world so he used his family resources to raise money but after one of his fundraisers was used in a civil war, he lost interest in anything. This happened because of being unable to save a girl from a missile barrage. The lack of desire made him perfect for being OOO but also perfect for being a host of the Purple Medals so it could fill him with the desire of nothingness. He cherishes human life greatly and doesn't like it when people say that human life isn't worth that much. His desire to help people is great that he's willing to not protect himself even to the point of death or becoming a Greeed.

Eiji has a couple of personality quirks. The first one is him saying that he knows someone for a long time even though he met today. The second one is him needing a pair of underwear for tomorrow. It's due to his grandfather saying that you never know when you're going to die but always have a pair of underwear for tomorrow.

Kamen Rider OOO

Hino Eiji transforms into Kamen Rider OOO using the power of three Core Medals at a time. By switching out the Core Medals, he can switch out his head, his torso, and his legs. When he uses a set of three like Medals, it's called a Combo. Combos are very powerful and have unique Scanning Charges but uses a lot of energy. After using a Combo, Eiji usually collapses from using it.

Tatoba Combo

It's the form that OOO uses to start off most fights. It's the only non-homogeneous form that has its own song. Its Scanning Charge is a drop kick which three sets of rings appeared and OOO goes through them before making contact with the enemy.

Gatakiriba Combo

Medals: Kuwagata, Kamakiri, Batta Medals

It is the first Combo that OOO uses. It is considered to be the ultimate Combo due to the ability of creating clones of itself. It can use the base abilities of the Medals it consists of. The clones could use other Core Medals and transform into those forms which was shown in OOO Wonderful. Its Scanning Charge revolves all the clones using a kick at the enemy to defeat it.

Latoraatah Combo

Medals: Lion (Laion), Tora, Cheetah Medals

It is the second Combo that OOO uses. It is considered to be the Scorching Hot Combo for its ability to emit a bright light that can damage enemies. It can use the Tora Candroid to its full potential to operate the TorideVendor. Its Scanning Charge consists of a set of three rings which OOO runs through and do a cross slash using the Tora Claws.

The tora in the middle gets a long vowel, similar to "go" in Sagouzo.

Sagouzo Combo

Medals: Sai, Gorilla, Zou Medals

It is the third Combo that OOO uses. It is considered to be the Heavy-Hitter Combo for its great strength. It can manipulate gravity to bring its opponents down to the ground, create shock waves from pounding its chest, and create minor earthquakes with its stomps. It can fire the Gorilla Bagoons at the enemy. Its Scanning Change allows OOO to trap an enemy on the ground and pull it towards him to deliver a powerful headbutt and dual punch.

It's unclear with the "go" in Sagouzo uses a long vowel since "gorilla" in Japanese is just "gorira" with no long vowels.

Tajador Combo

Medals: Taka, Kujaku, Condor Medals

It is the fourth Combo that OOO uses. It is considered to be the Flaming Combo for its ability to deliver flame-based attacks on the enemy. It can fly with the peacock feathers and also can use them to protect himself from the enemy or even attack the enemy. It can use the Giga Scan attack to deliver a powerful fire or force attack depending what Medals are used. Its Scanning Charge is a flaming flying drop kick.

Theme song is "Time Judged All" which is sung by Eiji and Ankh. Name sounds like "Tajadol".

Shauta Combo

Medals: Shachi, Unagi, Tako Medals

It is the fifth Combo that OOO uses. It is considered to be the Sea Combo for its ability to fight effectively in water. It can allow OOO to transform into water and create tentacles. Its Scanning Charge allows OOO to bind the enemy with the Unagi Whips before using its tentacles at rapid speeds like a drill to defeat the enemy.

Putotyra Combo

Medals: Ptera (Putera), Tricera (Torikera), Tyranno Medals

It is the final Combo that OOO uses. It is considered to be the Unrivaled Combo for its ability to destroy Core Medals. This Combo is usually a risk to use since there's a strong chance that Eiji would go berserk. It can freeze enemies with its icy wind, can fly, and uses a tail to attack its enemy. It can summon the Putotyra Axe and use it as a gun by feeding it a Cell Medal which is called the Putotyranno Hissatsu. Its Scanning Charge allows OOO to use a set of stingers to bind an opponent so it can freeze it before being destroyed by the tail.

Tamashii Combo

Medals: Taka, Imagin, Shocker (Shokkaa) Medals

It allows OOO to use the Soul Combo. He uses this Combo to defeat the Shocker Leader by firing an energy ball at him. When he transforms, one of the lines in the belt jingle is "Rider Damashii" which means "Rider Soul".

Burakawani Combo

Medals: Cobra (Kobura, Kame, Wani Medals

It allows OOO to use the powers of reptiles. It can control snakes with a flute like with the Nue Yummy, create barriers, and jaw projections from its kick. Its Scanning Charge creates a set of rings that OOO slides into before connecting with a powerful sliding kick.

Takagaruba Subform

Medals: Taka, Kangaroo (Kangaruu), Batta Medals

When the Kangaroo Medal is placed in the arm slot, OOO is able to use Takagaruba. His arms are super light and his fists have boxing gloves on them. He can use Kangaroo Upper and Kangaroo Punch to finish off enemies.

Takatoragaru Subform

When the Kangaroo Medal is placed in the leg slot, OOO is able to use Takatoragaru. His legs are super light and his feet looks like he has sneakers on them. He can use Kangaroo Spinning Kick and Kangaroo Kick to finish off enemies. During Kangaroo Kick, a kangaroo tail appears and helps balance OOO during the attack.

Super Tatoba Combo

Using the Future Core Medals, OOO is able to transform into a stronger version of Tatoba. It is unaffected by the time distortion effects of the Future Core Medals like the regular Tatoba Combo was.

Taka (Hawk) - allows Eiji to see great distances or even inside a Yummy or Greeed's body

Kuwagata (Stag Beetle) - executes electric attacks

Lion - creates a bright flash of light

Sai (Rhino) - deals powerful headbutts

Shachi (Orca) - acts like sonar to find enemies

Ptera - unable to be use separately from the other Purple Medals, it allows Putotyra to fly and spread icy wind

Cobra - unknown if it can be used separately, it allows Burakawani to control snakes and even uses the snake on its head to attack enemies

Super Taka(Hawk) - future version of the Taka Medal

Body

Kujaku (Peacock) - allows use of Giga Scan attacks

Kamakiri (Mantis) - creates a set of blades on OOO's arms

Tora (Tiger) - creates a set of claws

Gorilla - allows OOO to deliver powerful blows and fire the Gorilla Bagoons at the enemy

Unagi (Eel) - creates a set of whips that can emit an electric charge

Tricera(tops) - unable to be use separately from the other Purple Medals, allows OOO to use a set of stingers to impale enemies

Kame (Turtle) - unknown if can be used separately, can create barriers

Imagin - creates a set of horns on OOO's arms and shoulders

Kangaroo - puts boxing gloves on OOO's fists, lightens his arms to allow him to move faster

Condor - can create energy talons during kick attacks

Batta (Grasshopper) - allows OOO to jump great distances

Cheetah - allows OOO to move at very fast speeds

Trivia

• Kamen Rider OOO has the most versatility with its ability to mix and match its combinations. From the possible combinations from the base 5, there are 125 combinations for OOO can use.
• Eiji is the second main Kamen Rider to use another Kamen Rider system when he became Kamen Rider Birth in OOO Wonderful. Shouichi from Kamen Rider Agito used G3-X in a couple episodes of Agito.
