一ノ瀬宝太郎
Ichinose Houtarou is the main protagonist of Kamen Rider Gotchard.
Houtarou is a second-year high school student attending Furasu High School. Although he has not figured out his future yet, Houtarou is actively seeking his Gotcha, or his passion.
Houtarou lives with his mother Ichinose Tamami, and helps her run their family restaurant. He is creative with the restaurant's dishes.
Chosen by the Hopper1 and SteamLiner Chemies to save the world from the sinister Malgam, Houtarou is entrusted with the Gotchardriver by Kudou Fuuga, which Houtarou uses to transform into Kamen Rider Gotchard to fend off the Malgam.

Chemy Riser
(ケミーライザー)
A device for capturing Chemies. By sliding a RideChemy Card into the Riser's card reader, the user gains access to the Chemy's power.
SmaPhone
(スマホーン)
A smartphone Chemy that detects the presence of other Chemies.
Exgotchalibur
(エクスガッチャリバー)
A mini-sword with an X-shape on its cross-guard. Can be closed into its compact form to combine with the Gotchardriver, allowing Gotchard to upgrade into Super Gotchard using Level 10 Chemy Cards.
GotcharIgniter
(ガッチャーイグナイター)
An attachment item for the Gotchardriver . Can be combined with the Gotchardriver to evolve Gotchard into Fire Gotchard.
