一ノ瀬宝太郎
Ichinose Houtarou is the main protagonist of Kamen Rider Gotchard.
Houtarou is a second-year high school student attending Furasu High School. Although he has not figured out his future yet, Houtarou is actively seeking his Gotcha, or his passion.
Houtarou lives with his mother Ichinose Tamami, and helps her run their family restaurant. He is creative with the restaurant's dishes.
Chosen by the Hopper1 and SteamLiner Chemies to save the world from the sinister Malgam, Houtarou is entrusted with the Gotchardriver by Kudou Fuuga, which Houtarou uses to transform into Kamen Rider Gotchard to fend off the Malgam.

Uses the Gotchardriver with RideChemy Trading Cards to transform.
Gotchard's name is a combination of the words gotcha and card.

Acrobatic and agile in combat. Jumps and kicks with his Hopper Ring Pressure legs while fighting.
SteamHopper's Wild mode is a large, mechanical grasshopper.

Slashes and shoots arrows with the GotcharTornado. Fuels the bow's firepower by sliding a RideChemy Card into the bow's Gotcher Spin.
AppareSkebow's Wild mode can spin itself to shield Gotchard from enemy attacks.
Wild Modes are forms used by Gotchard that lack physical appearances, but are powerful in battle.
