Important things that happened
- Aki's testimony doesn't answer Ryou's question about his being on the Akatsuki-gou ferry, but only tells him that the ferry was caught in a storm and most of the passengers were eventually saved through an unknown means. Ryou insists her to answer more. Then, he collapses from the side effects of his transformation into Gills. Ryou wakes up and runs away when he hears Aki secretly reporting to someone about using him to their advantage. Later, she catches up with him, seeing him so persistent to find answers. She decides to introduce him to the Akatsuki-gou members.
- Houjou sees Gills fighting the Skelos Falx Unknown; he deploys his capture team to attack the Rider with gas bullets. Gills survives the attack and attacks Houjou in retaliation until Hikawa stops him as G3.
- Shouichi wants to move in to live with Aki in her apartment. Mana worries about him because he actually believes in Aki's lies.

- In this episode, Ryou and Aki echo each other. Aki tells Ryou that he's lying, and then he says the same thing to her later. When Ryou first appears at her apartment, she calls him persistent. When Aki is following Ryou later, he calls her persistent. They both admit that's their good points.
