Important things that happened
- Houjou's appeal to the police officials about Hikawa's activities as G3 was rejected. But he learned Hikawa was once a hero in an Akatsuki-gou incident where he risked his own life to rescue the crew and passengers on the ferry. However, the police officials intended to keep the incident as secret as possible. In return, Hikawa was appointed to be the user of the G3 System.
- While Ryou and Mayumi are on a date together, they're attacked by the Anguis Masculus Unknown. Ryou turns into a green figure for a short moment and Mayumi witnesses his transformation. Later on, he calls her and tells her that's the reason why he left his swimming life behind. Heartbroken, Mayumi chooses to break up with him because she does not wish to be part of such dangerous situation; she wants to live a normal life instead. Ryou accepts the fact that they should break up for the sake of not endangering her.
- The Anguis Masculus Unknown continues to attack Mayumi. Ryou uses his newly obtained power to fight it. After defeating the Unknown, he watches Mayumi off and says his goodbye behind a lamppost.
- Mikumo eventually sees the Mysterious Boy. She is suddenly attacked by the Anguis Femineus Unknown. Enrage, the boy orders the Unknown to kill itself.
