Important things that happened

Mana suspects Shouichi might be her father's killer after finding him unconscious in her bedroom, so she goes out alone and ignores him for the day. She uses her power to find out the day when her father was killed, he bought her a bird in a birdcage as a present for her hard effort at her studies. Mana goes home and forgives Shouichi for he is too kind to be a murderer after all.
During the meeting about the Corvus Croccio Unknown's activities, Houjou suggests the police officials to make a final verdict of deciding the new G3 user. Eventually, the decision is confirmed that Houjou will be the new G3 user to fight the Unknowns in the front line. Hikawa returns to being a cop while Ozawa and Omuro continue to stay on duty as operators. The G3 suit is taken for modification; Ozawa is unable to deploy G3 to fight the Corvus Croccio Unknown.
The Mysterious Teenager uses his power to control Ryou's mutation. He later evolves into a young man. Ryou who watches the evolution suddenly screams in fear and he runs towards the young man as the green figure.

This is the debut of Agito's Flame Form as the title of the episode is a reference to the form.
Omuro calls Hikawa is a clumsy guy who loses his G3 chance to Houjou. Shouichi also calls Hikawa a clumsy guy who can't use a cutting knife properly when he asks Hikawa to help him make a new bed for Mana.
Shouichi searches the newspaper clippings in Mana's book and he says Mana's father looks familiar to him.
Despite Hikawa returns to being a cop, he continues to investigate people possessing paranormal abilities. Professor Misugi chooses not to believe in paranormal abilities can make things happen, he suggests Hikawa to drop the case since no evidence can prove such possibility.
When the young man sees Ryou running towards him as the green figure, he calls the figure as Gills but not Agito.
