- Sugata Shun reprises his role as Murasame Ryou (Kamen Rider ZX) since his last appearance in Kamen Rider Taisen, which released in spring 2014.
- Kamen Rider Fuuma returns after his last appearance in episodes 44 and 45 of Kamen Rider Zi-O.
- Kamen Rider Kenzan returns after his last appearance in Kamen Rider Outsiders ep.2, which released only 2 months prior to this TTFC special.
- Several people from the original Shinobi return. Kaneko was also the writer for Rider Time Shinobi 1-3. Hatsumura Kenya who narrates is also the voice of the Shinobi Driver.
- Amakusa Shirou Tokisada is based on a real life person. His alternate form, Geronimo, was one of the real Amakusa's western names. He was later known as Francisco.
- Fuku, a celeb well known for his love of Kamen Rider, plays a parody of himself being a fan of Kamen Rider Shinobi. However, in the background he has a poster for an adventure show with some parody of Rider show catchphrases. "Now, I'm the trump card!" (a mashup of either W or Wizard and Blade) and "Understand everything, connect everything", a parody of Decade's show motto.
- As the camera pulls out, it shows that Fuku's show airs at the same time slot as Kamen Rider, and that his show is much more popular. At 32.5% viewership, it beats the original Kamen Rider's top viewership rating of 30.1% for Kamen Rider 41.
- Kyo Nobuo played Kasumi Isshuu / Kuwagaraiger on Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger. He previously had a guest role as Tsugami Kaoru / Horse Fangire on Kamen Rider Kiva Ep 01.
