- The Geats Movie is the first Rider movie to use eiga (映画/movie) in its Japanese title name. Previous Rider movies frequently used gekijouban (劇場版) instead which also means "movie".
- The collector's edition of the Geats movie comes with a 28 page novella called Who is Melo?
- The Jamato World Tree is a reference to Yggdrasil, the world tree from Norse mythology.
- When Buffa is manually transforming cowboy Ace, he says "konkon" as he makes Ace's hand into a fox head. Konkon is the Japanese onomatopoeia for a fox cry.
- Brainy Ace quotes Sun Tzu's "In all fighting, the direct method may be used for joining battle, but indirect methods will be needed in order to secure victory" (凡そ戦いは、正を以て合い、奇を以て勝つ。)
- Ace does not access his default form, MagnumBoost Form for the duration of the entire film.
- Mero gets her name from Meromero/"to fall in love". Mera from Meramera/"to burst into flame".
- According to screenwriter Takahashi Yuya, he left the film's continuity open to the audience's interpretation.
- Mera had appeared as X Geats in Ep 45 of the TV series along with Mero.
- X Geats is pronounced "Cross Geats". X Geats might be a joke that he's 10 Geats, compared to Geats IX.
