Shunpei is looking at the Wizard Rings when he finds a red one which has an unknown use. Haruto says that it doesn't do anything when used on the belt.
A white Garuda comes into the shop and drops off a box.
The mother of this week's Gate was a nurse that was present when Haruto's parents were hospitalized after a car accident. We learn that his parents entrusted Haruto with their hopes.
Phoenix goes to Wiseman to ask for his permission. Wiseman is shown behind veils and is never seen.
Phoenix beats up Hiroki's mother, then defeats Wizard, knocking him off a bridge and into the water.

The episode goes out of its way to emphasize Shunpei's man-childness. When he tries to catch the white Garuda, he gets out a bug catching net like a kid. When they run into the child being attacked by the Ghuls, both Shunpei and the kid are dressed pretty similarly. There's even a scene where they're sitting together drinking from similar looking cups.
Child Haruto is shown eating a donut.
Before they died, Haruto's parents tell him that he's their hope. This is probably where Haruto gets the "final hope" line. Also, Haruto's parents being dead was hinted on episode 7 when Haruto told Manami that he had no family.
Koyomi observing Rinko get arrested provokes a similar double take reaction from Wajima as the first episode when Rinko arrests Haruto. Even Haruto and Rinko's reactions of "But why" when they are arrested are the same.

Ogura Toshihiro is known for being Ryuutaros's stunt actor on Kamen Rider Den-O.
Higashi Yuki portrayed Yuri's mother on Kamen Rider Kiva.
