- Has the ability to control the wind. The wind brings him information (like Yuzuru's weakness). It also gave him the ability to make it seem like Yuzuru could perform tricks on his bike, as well as using it to fling the bike at Akari.
- Sylphi is probably best known as the wind elemental in Final Fantasy. Probably based on sylphs (elements of air). Nishikawa's name has nishi or west in it. Seeing as he is a "west wind", his speech is full of English phrases.

- Daimon's first appearance in this episode is waking up after falling asleep after pulling an all-nighter in the previous one.
- Mayu mentions that the white mage said two more mages are needed to completely wipe out the Phantoms.
- Kizaki looks at the composite sketch and seems to recognize Fueki. He looks him up and finds out his name is Fueki Sou. After learning this, he hears the sound of a flute before something happens. The fue in Fueki is Japanese for flute.
- When white mage is fighting later, his weapon doubles as a staff and a flute.
- Also, the kanji for Sou means "to play an instrument".
- Before supposedly being attacked by the white mage, Kizaki scrolls down to find another name, Fueki Kyouko 笛木京子.
- Since Sylphi is a wind elemental, Wizard and Beast use Hurricane and Hurricane Dragon forms as well as Falco before using their final forms to beat him.
- When Sora is watching the white mage fight, he appears to have some kind of epiphany.
- In the credits, Mayu is listed as Kamen Rider Mage.
- Mayu says "Saa owari no toki" which means "It's the end". The term is fairly similar to Wizard's "It's showtime" and Beast's "It's mealtime".
