Important things that happened[edit]

  • An agent is seen reporting to Kizaki about Rinko being in contact with Haruto.
  • Nara performs magic for kids, when Tajima from TV-Yuhi asks him to perform magic on camera. Nara agrees and does the performance.
  • Haruto runs into Nara after the interview, but when Nara tries to do magic at this point, he can't. Haruto assumes this is a Phantom trying to trick Nara, but Nara becomes infuriated and assumes Haruto is interfering with him.
  • In a flashback, we see that Haruto and Koyomi meet Wajima because Haruto was tracking down who created the Wizard Rings.
  • Nara appears on TV-Yuhi to perform magic in a live performance, but he fails to do so. Tajima instantly turns on Nara at this point, eventually revealing to Nara that he's Hellhound. Kizaki, Rinko, and others are shocked as they watch TV, as this is a live broadcast.
  • Haruto appears in the studio just as Nara gives into despair. They fight for a bit before Haruto defeats Hellhound and the Phantom within Nara.

Trivia[edit]

  • When performing magic, the audience is the kids from the previous episode who called him lame for believing in magic as an adult.
  • TV-Yuhi is a parody of TV Asahi, the channel where Wizard airs. Asahi means "morning sun" while yuhi means "evening sun". The url for their site is www.yuhitv.oc.jp
  • The first episode to have a battle song. Also the first episode to show the Water Style.
  • When using a Kick Strike with the dragon and bike, it becomes a giant foot for Wizard.
  • Besides being the guest of the week, the other clue that Tajima is Hellhound is that when he appears, he politely says "pardon me/that's very kind of you" (kyoushuku desu 恐縮です). This is when he first meets Nara and when he appears before Phoenix and Medusa. He also uses it once in episode two to say he's honored by Medusa's confidence. Since the usage is different when he meets Nara, a "It's an honor to meet you." is appended to preserve the clue, and the key word becomes "honor" instead.
  • During production of the episode, the crew celebrated Tozuka Junki's birthday who plays Shunpei in the show.
