Important things that happened[edit]

  • Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger tribute episode.
  • This episode focused on Ahim de Famille and Ikari Gai, who were disguised as a couple.
  • Waruzu Giru comes down with the common cold as Insaan deduces that the happiness of women is needed to cure him. Barizorg employs Action Commander Daiyaaru to carry out the task.
  • The action commander targets brides, attracting the attention of the Gokaigers. The Action Commander enlarges himself and the Gokaigers respond by summoning Gokai-Ou and GouJyuJin. However, Daiyaaru shrinks himself down and takes control of GouJyuJin, using it to battle Gokai-Ou, before going over to take Gokai-Ou over. However, GokaiRed, GokaiBlue, and GokaiYellow damage the giant robot while they chase Daiyaaru inside of it. With Navi's help, they manage to corner Daiyaaru, but he shrinks again and enters GokaiYellow's outfit until GokaiPink forces him out with bug spray, forcing him to retreat to the Gigant Horse to clean his eyes.
  • While Doc forces Captain Marvelous, Joe, and Luka to help in repairs, Ahim asks Gai to come with her to get married so they can lure Daiyaaru into a trap and destroy his size-changing dial. However, before they could get his staff that holds all his victims' happiness, Daiyaaru knocks Gai down and escapes. Ahim pursues the Action Commander, using a series of disguises to harass him and destroy his staff, releases the women's happiness energy.
  • The other Gokaigers arrive, but are met by Sanjou Yukito. After he introduces himself and his wife, Emiri, Yukito states that he is impressed with Ahim's "Abare" fighting style, and also tells the Gokaigers that Nakadai Mikoto failed to mention that the Abaranger Ranger Keys' power can also be used by Gokai-Ou. Ahim tells him that they only have five Ranger Keys in that set, which would leave her out. However, Emiri presents her with the AbarePink Ranger Key to her to make it six.
  • With Yukito and Emiri taking cover, the Gokaigers assume the forms of the Abarangers and AbarePink. Embarrassed by her appearance, Ahim stands back while her comrades defeat the Action Commander before everyone uses their Final Wave attacks to finish him off.
  • Barely enlarged by a now ill Insaan, Daiyaaru is confronted by Gokai-Ou and GouJyuJin as the Gokaigers use the Abaranger Keys to activate the Grand Power of the Abarangers: switching their robots' arms. This turns Gokai-Ou into Goujyu Gokai-Ou, who finishes Daiyaaru off as Yukito and Emiri watch on the sidelines.
  • Later, Gai tells the others of how Ahim managed to put her plan into motion, as she is embarrassed further by the photographs he took on his GokaiCellular.

Trivia[edit]

Sentai References[edit]

  • Like episode 18, the episode's title follows Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger's format of using the word Abare (アバレ) in the title.
  • It's the Abaranger episode, so there's tons of them. The name is almost exactly the same as the Abaranger episode where Ranru uses a lot of costumes to beat the monster. This refers to the Shichi Henge Trope, the word is also in the episode title.
  • The Abaranger Grand Power makes Gokai-Ou similar to AbarenOh.
  • It has characters Sanjou Yukito and Sanjou Emiri from Abaranger, who have gotten married since the last time we've seen them in the Tokusou Sentai DekaRanger VS Abaranger movie.
  • Emiri gives Ahim the AbarePink Ranger Key, referring to the ongoing joke of an AbarePink from Abarangers. It changes Ahim into Emiri's old self-made costume.
  • The Yukito & Emiri "Eyecatch" is a direct homage to the cliffhanger endings of Abaranger, where a Bakuryuu would appear and comment on the situation before the commercial break. The episode would then continue where it left off after the ending credits.
  • At the end of Abaranger, Sanjou Yukito (AbareBlue) and Imanaka Emiri (AbarePink) are going out. In DekaRanger VS Abaranger, they are in a relationship. And in this episode they are married.
  • At the end, Yukito says "You become stronger the more you rampage.", a reference to the lyrics of Bakuryuu Sentai Abaranger's opening theme.
