Trivia

  • Shinobigakure means "hiding shinobi", which is funny since shinobi in itself means "one who hides".
  • The stops to the left and right of the train station at Shinobigakure Village are Tanuki River and Mt. Tanuki. In myth, tanuki are mischievous, form-changing raccoon-like creatures. Tanuki statues are seen throughout the movie and in the ending credits.
  • Yumihari means "bow with the string pulled back".
