Back at magic school, Yakumo tries to summon a dragon, but instead summons a dinosaur. Perhaps a reference to the summer movie where the same joke/gag happened several times?
Fuuka auditions for a role for a movie called Police Reporter Pescatore 2 (事件記者　ペスカトーレ2). Pescatore is Italian for "fisherman".
- This is a callback to Toqger Station 38, in which Kagura films the first movie in this series. In fact, the team behind the sequel is called "Team Izumi" which is Kagura's last name.
The last Sealing Shuriken becomes a transformation Nin Shuriken for Kyuuemon. It's green, which is the same color scheme of his ninja gi from when he was a child training with Tsumuji and Yoshitaka.
One of Kibaoni's attacks is called Asura, a Buddhist "fighting demon" (阿修羅).
The end hints at the Returns V-cinema that is coming out in June. They decide to meet again in two years to decide who's become strongest.

During the ending theme, there's a guess the number of colored fireworks there are. The colors match the colors on the remote for TV's in Japan.
