Important things that happened

• Gosei Sentai DaiRanger tribute episode.
• Fully recovered from his injuries, Gai intends to make up for lost time starting with cleaning the interior of the GokaiGalleon.
• While shopping for groceries, Gai, Luka, and Doc encounter Action Commander Zacura who is under orders to eat up Earth's food supply. They transform to fight him, but he is too much for the three Gokaigers. Once the others arrive, all six Gokaigers transform into the GaoRangers to fight with Zacura. But GokaiSilver's excitement of being back in action leaves him open to Zacura's vomit counterattack, canceling his transformation and making him drop his GokaiCellular. Zacura then sucks back the food, eating the GokaiCellular as well, before retreating.
• Feeling depressed over the loss of his transformation device and the fact that the GokaiGalleon cannot trace its location, Gai leaves to have some time to himself. While walking around town, he bumps into Ryou, the former leader of the DaiRangers and now an owner of a Chinese restaurant. At the restaurant, Ryou tries to cheer Gai up with a serving of his specialty gyoza, but Gai tells him he can no longer consider himself a hero without his GokaiCellular.
• The next day, the rest of the Gokaigers scramble to capture Zacura when he resumes his mission, but he uses his teleportation ability to evade the pirates. When Gai learns of the events while meeting up with Ryou with a bazaar, he expresses his frustration as Ryou tells him that he has forgotten something important to him. But before Ryou can explain more, Zacura and his troops invade the bazaar.
• Though he can not transform, Ryou roll calls and fights off Goumin as Gai realizes that he became a hero to protect people. The two manage to dispatch most of the Goumin, but are no match for the three Sugoumin and Zacura. The five Gokaigers arrive on the scene, using the GekiRangers' Geki Infusion attack to force Zacura to cough up everything he has consumed, including the GokaiCellular. Gai retrieves it and joins the Gokaigers as they change into the DaiRangers and finish off Goumin. GokaiSilver assumes Gold Mode to destroy the Sugoumin and the Gokaigers use the GokaiGalleon Buster on Zacura.
• When Zacura and the Sugoumin are revived and grown, Gokai-Ou and GouJyuJin are summoned to battle them, but are overwhelmed. At Ryou's insistence, the Gokaigers use DaiRanger's Grand Power to execute the Gokai GouJyu KiRyoku Bomber on the Sugoumin. Gokai-Ou then summons Fuuraimaru to form Hurricane Gokai-Ou and execute the Gokai Fuurai Attack on Zacura, who tries to eat the attack before it destroys him from the inside.
• Back at the bazaar, Ryou gives the Gokaiger a hearty serving of his gyoza while he tells Gai to never to forget the most important part of being a hero. The short lecture, however, causes Gai to miss out on the gyoza meal.

Sentai References

• The episode's title references the first two episodes of Gosei Sentai Dairanger in using "Daaa!!" (だァァッ!!) in the end of the title.
• While cleaning the GokaiGalleon, Gai does the poses of Go-On Red and Big One.
