Important things that happened
- Wajima creates two new rings from Kizaki's magic stone: Hurricane Dragon and the Thunder Ring.
- Shunpei decides to help Haruto by finding leads of Phantoms but mostly he causes various scenes with people in the area. He meets with Tetsuya who is a former sempai of Shunpei. He currently an apprentice of a Japanese Confectionery shop called Matsukian.
- While doing a delivery, Tetsuya is attacked by Phantom Valkyrie who destroys most of the shipment. This destruction causes Matsukian to lose their biggest client.
- Shunpei tries to help out by selling manju to Wajima, Rinko, and the people he annoyed earlier. Eventually he meets the snack manager of Narushima Department Store, Kiritari. He offers the struggling Matsukian a deal that they would bring 500 manju a day to the store. In celebration, Matsuki creates a new manju which he names it "Kibou" or hope.
- The following day, Shunpei and Matsuki find out that the deal was too good to be true and Kiritari reveal himself as Phantom Valkyrie. Haruto realizes this and immediately attacks Valkyrie with his two new rings but Valkyrie gains the upper hand by taking Shunpei hostage.
