- His first job as a Zangyack soldier is to cut the children but he refuses. As a result, Joe becomes a traitor.
- Joe and his sempai, Sid, seperate to leave the Zangyack forces but Sid was caught and captured.
Joe, who faces Barizorg, uses his sword technique similar to his sempai, Sid Bamick.
Captain Marvelous tells the other Gokaigers, Shiba Kaoru and Tanba Toshizo about Joe's past and is assured that Joe will return.
- Joe Gibken is the first comrade who recruited by Captain Mervelous and become GokaiBlue.
Waruzu Giru orders Deratsueigaa to eliminate the Gokaigers, whose Captain Mervelous / GokaiRed shots him in his left arm.
