- Jiraiya is a guest from the show Sekai Ninjasen Jiraiya. Jiraiya claims to be in his 40s, but his actor is actually 51 at time of airing.
- When Jiraiya and Takaharu are fleeing, they run down Oomori-zaka.
- When Jiraya is running with Takaharu and he's sliding at the floor of an office with some ladies working, it's a reference of a specific part of the opening of his show in which he does the same thing.
