Important things that happened
- Ryuuji suspects there's an ulterior reason for Jin's avatar taking on his appearance from 13 years ago.
- When the Metaroid shows the Busters' their fears they are: A giant chicken, zombies for Ryuuji, and the ghost from Jin's story for Youko. In Hiromu's case, he freezes from it.

Trivia
- Jin tells a ghost story at the beginning, saying it's traditional for bon summer festivals. In Japanese this is called a kaidan, one famous of which is irkingly romanized to: Kwaidan. The particular story that he's telling is The ghost story of Okiku.
- "Kaidan also frequently involve water as a ghostly element. In Japanese religion, water is a pathway to the underworld as can be seen in the festival of Obon." From the Japanese wiki on Kaidan.
- Speaking of bon (Japanese for lanterns), Escape picks a lantern out of the river at the beginning. She installs a fear Metavirus into the bon's candle. Summer true is the time for Japanese ghost stories.
- Because of J's habit of covering up Jin, Jin is unaffected by Rousokuroid's hypnotism. For the first time, Jin tells J to cover him up. As soon as the first is out at the end of the episode, Jin is back to telling J to not cover him. What a fickle man Jin is.
- The Metaroid sees a news broadcast warning people about an approaching Megazord. The TV station is called TV Azuma. Azuma is Japanese for "east, eastern Japan". It sort of sounds like TV-Asahi, the channel that Go-Busters is broadcast on. However, meaningwise, it seems to fit TV-Tokyo better since Tokyo is known as the "eastern capital".
- In the battle at TV Azuma, Ryuuji and Escape end up fighting on a set with fake walls and other stuff. When Ryuuji is shot down, he falls next to a sign that says "No outsiders allowed in here."
- The preview in this episode is voiced by the Buddyroids this time.
- "Blue Banana Moon" is used for the ending song for the first time. Now all three of the main Busters' character songs have been played.
- Jin's archaic phrase "Demo mo suto mo nai" is from the Showa era. It seems like it's a combination of "demonstration" and "strike" but the original meaning isn't clear: Japanese explanation. But the usage is clear, you say that in response to someone going "But..." to mean "No buts!"
