The Vaglass

Omochiroid

オモチロイド

Voice actor: Sakaguchi Kouichi
Omochi = Sticky sweet rice.
Metavirus: TSUKU (To stick) つく
Number Z-02
  • Body is repurposed from the Keshigomuroid costume. Omochiroid's left eye is turned up instead of down and has more scorch marks. The body is different too, but for the most part it's the same costume.
  • On his body it has Tsuku and Z-02 written.
  • Starts off as small mochi/eraser size. When heated up, he expands and becomes a normal sized Metaroid. When he exerts himself, he makes a "mochi" sound.

Trivia

  • The Buglar fight at the beginning is on the stairs that they walk down in the opening.
  • No Enter or Messiah Cards. Just a holiday show.
  • In a previous episode, it appeared as if the Lio Attache was in two places at the same time. In actuality, it could have been transported from the cockpit of Tategami Lioh to be used as its Lio Blaster mode later. Almost as if to address that, they show Jin calling Hiromu to let him know the Lio Blaster was available for use before transporting it.
  • It's mentioned that Ryuuji is already 29, but is just an example of a non-main writer making mistakes with the continuity. It has been established in the series that Ryuuji's birthday is on January 15, so he is still only 28 in this episode.
  • The district names are pretty lame in this episode. Higashi just means "east" and Minami means "south".
  • The episode reuses the eraser Metaroid (although slightly modified) from Mission 26. The writer even used the same jokes that he used in that episode.
  • When Ryuuji asks Hiromu how he lost his shoes, Hiromu says he lost them on the stairs. Probably a reference to Cinderella.
  • Go-Buster Beet is turned into kagami mochi, a traditional New Year's food.
