Important things that happened

Having learned from Shibaura that Kitaoka is Zolda, Asakura uses customers at a restaurant as hostages to lure Kitaoka out.
- Law enforcement personnel are prepared to deal with Asakura when he comes out of the restaurant.
- Shinji ends up in the crime scene after returning from the Mirror World. He messages Reiko that he is inside the restaurant.
Tezuka tells Ren to give up on Ogawa Eri for the latter's sake. In episode 16, Tezuka eavesdropped on Ren when the latter visited Eri at the hospital.
Shibaura wants to increase the excitement of the Rider Battle. He uses Yui to lure Ren into the battle.
Shinji takes a photo of Asakura and hostages with his cellphone, but this risky move gets him caught by Asakura. He quickly messages the photo to ORE Journal.
Kitaoka is contacted by the police to meet Asakura at the restaurant. He arrives there and in exchange, Asakura frees the hostages, except for the little girl and Shinji.
- Asakura reveals his Card Deck to Kitaoka. The two Riders transform and begin their fight.
- Shinji and the girl are knocked unconscious by a smoke grenade that was intended for Asakura. They are taken to an ambulance.
While Zolda and Ouja duke it out, Knight and Gai have their rematch. Tezuka rescues Yui and intervenes in Knight and Gai's fight.
Yui sees Kanzaki Shirou within the reflections. He tells her the Riders chose to enter the Rider Battle and it has nothing to do with her.
Ryuki miraculously arrives to the fight, defending Knight from Gai's Final Vent.
The Rider Battle on both sides eventually cross paths. Zolda fires his Final Vent at Ouja and the other Riders.
- Ouja uses Gai as a shield to take the impact of Zolda's Final Vent. He then kills Gai with his own Final Vent.
