Ren loses his memories from the impact of Zolda's Final Vent.
Yui goes through an album titled as Seimeiin University Year 40 to find about Kanzaki Shirou's study history at the Seimeiin University. She finds a class photo under the title as Ejima Laboratory which the photo consists of Kanzaki Shirou, Ejima Hitoshi, and other unknown students.
Reiko investigates the empty train compartment. She finds herself Ejima Hitoshi who is muttering to himself that the cause of a certain event was not his fault.

In the past, Ren met quite a few gang people. Most of them were upset because Ren mostly turned down their offer of dueling against him.
Ejima walks around with a Seal Card. He was involved in an experiment with Kanzaki Shirou together, he eventually obtained the card for unknown reasons.
