Kido Shinji finds himself a Card Deck during his investigation in Sakakibara Kouichi's apartment.
The Card Deck's power forces Shinji to experience the mysterious Mirror World, transforming him into Ryuki Blank.

Sakakibara Kouichi, whose apartment is checked by Shinji, appears in Kamen Rider Ryuki Special: 13RIDERS.
- Because of the hole in the newspaper covering the window and the appearance of Dragreder, it's likely that Sakakibara disappeared because he was devoured.
After Reiko and Shinji apologized for the broken apartment window, the landlord says "When it rains, it pours." (泣き面に蜂 Literally means A crying face attracts bees.)
It should be noted that Blank Form is the weakest form in Ryuki because a Rider hasn't made a contract with a Mirror Monster yet.
- Ryuki Blank's combat is essentially weak even though the cards in the Card Deck provide him the means for a self-defense.
- Kamen Rider Knight defeats Dispider because he made a contract with Darkwing, so he is powerful enough to defeat a Mirror Monster.
