- Sano fights in the Rider Battle because he wants to live a wealthy life instead of living in a poor life.
- To his surprise, he inherits his father's company under the private treatment from his father's employees.
- Sano sees this as a chance to quit the Rider Battle. Unfortunately, Kanzaki Shirou says leaving the Rider Battle means Sano is breaking the contract with his Mirror Monsters at his own risks. Sano reluctantly continues to fight in the Rider Battle.
