*Shinji and Yui investigate a masked man appearing at Meirin University during the night. 
**They learn about the Matrix, a club at the university that develops and plays computer games.
*In secrecy, the Matrix club students dress in black cloaks and wear iron masks. They use weapons to fight each other for the recording of a fighting game.
**Despite being a simulation for a video game, the club members involved in these fights are brutally beaten by one another.
*Tezuka meets Shinji at Tea Atori. Shinji is delighted to meet another Rider who wishes to stop the Rider Battle. Tezuka predicts Shinji will encounter Kamen Rider Gai.
*A quiet Matrix club student, Shibaura Jun, is the mastermind behind the fighting game. He is the rumored Kamen Rider Gai.
*When Ryuki chooses not to fight, Gai defeats him and takes his Dragreder card away.
