Trivia
- The sub-plot of Kenta being recruited by iNet after defeating an expert player on the MegaRanger video game was inspired by the 1984 film The Last Starfighter, where Alex Rogan was recruited by the Star League after setting a new record score on the Starfighter arcade game.
- MegaRanger is the first Sentai in the modern day 7:30 on Sunday morning time slot. Sentai had been in the Friday time slot since 1989, when TurboRanger moved into it from Saturday nights.
- MegaRanger started off in a 25 minute time slot, but after the move to Sunday mornings, it received a 30 minute slot instead. This is the first Sentai series to be 30 minutes long, since Dynaman in 1983.
