Important things that happened

Kazuraba Kouta is a young man who works as a deliveryman. He helps a boy find his mother before resuming work.
In the midst of Zawame City is where dance teams called Beat Riders compete in dance battles. It is also where the trending Inves Games take place.
- Commentary on the Inves Games are broadcasted on a pirate radio called the Beat Riders Hotline, hosted by DJ Sagara.
Team Baron challenges Team Gaim to an Inves Game, where the winning team gets to claim Gaim's dance stage.
- Peko, a member of Team Baron, pulls off a cheating tactic that causes Team Gaim's Inves to step out of the arena.
- Kouta arrives and closes the Lock Seed, returning the Inves to where it was summoned from. However, because Team Gaim's Inves stepped out of the fight, Team Baron wins by default.
Mai, a member of Team Gaim, gives Kouta the cold shoulder for leaving Team Gaim to support his older sister (Kazuraba Akira).
To help Team Gaim recover from their loss, Sumii Yuuya receives a device (Sengoku Driver) from Lock Dealer Sid.
The next day, Kouta and Mai are contacted by Yuuya, who wants to show them the Sengoku Driver. They arrive at the designated location, but Yuuya is nowhere to be found.
Instead, Kouta and Mai discover a portal leading them to a mysterious forest, where they find unripe fruit that turn into Lock Seed. They are pursued by the Byakko Inves.
Using the Sengoku Driver and Orange Lock Seed, Kouta transforms into Armored Rider Gaim and battles the Byakko Inves.
A mysterious woman who resembles Mai appears before Gaim. She tells Gaim that his fate has begun to unfold.
After Gaim destroyed the Byakko Inves, Kouta finds Mai unharmed. He remains in shock from the realization that he transformed right before his eyes.
