Important things that happened
- Kaito learns from Kouta that they can obtain Lock Seeds from the fruit in the forest. He picks some and uses to them bribe other teams to unite under Baron.
- Kouta encounters Zangetsu in the forest. Zangetsu attacks Kouta with no mercy, nearly killing him before he runs away. This trauma causes Kouta to be unable to transform. Mai takes the driver from him.
- Mitsuzane realizes that with Kouta gone, other teams will go after Team Gaim. So he uses his power as a member of the affluent Kureshima family to persuade Sid to give him a Sengoku Driver of his own.
- Jounouchi Hideyasu of Team Invitto challenges Team Gaim with a Lock Seed that he received from Baron. Mitsuzane transforms into Ryugen and defeats the Inves.

- It's revealed that Micchi is the younger brother of Yggdrasill powerhouse Takatora, and their father is a director at Yggdrasill's main office. Micchi starts to throw his weight around in this episode, and persuades Sid to get a Sengoku Driver despite Sid initially having hesitations.
- Mitsuzane continues to show his love for Mai and his faith in Kouta. He watches Mai practicing on his phone and he has faith that Kouta will make a comeback.
