Trivia
- This episode is both a plug for the Gaim movie and a way of capitalizing on the 2014 World Cup fever that has afflicted the world.
- On his jersey, Peko's name is spelled with a k.
- The two guests, Nakamura Kengo and Ota Kosuke, are both soccer members of J League. Nakamura plays for Kawasaki Frontale while Ota plays for F.C. Tokyo.
- Differences between worlds
- The motif of the alternate world is soccer instead of fruit. The fruit decoration at Bandou's place is replaced with a soccer decoration. Sagara's booth is filled with soccer stuff too.
- In this world, there is no Inves invasion and thus Hase is still alive.
- The Riders of this world only use their belts on the soccer field. When Kaito prompts Zack to join him in battle, Zack admits that he's never used the belt for fighting before.
- Malus is thought to be derived from the Ancient Greek words "bad" and/or "apple". It is also the name of a group of apple tree species.
