- Thouser was the name of the dog. Gai's robot dog is similar to AIBO by Sony. The box it came in shows it's a Hiden Intelligence Doggear model with the motto "Only Wan!" with wan being the sound of a puppy barking.
- In the credits, it lists new Thouser as played by aibo and old Thouser as played by AIBO ERS-111 / 38.
- Gai was 11 in 1986, but the Aibo wasn't produced till 1998. This isn't anachronistic since it's been previously established that Zero-One takes place in an alternate timeline.
- When Gai has his toy dog, he has clothes with color. After being scolded by his father, Gai gets rid of the dog and starts wearing pure white clothes.
- During a couple scenes, it can be seen Project There written in English on screens and on the rocket.
- Eita/Eida and Ono are the original A.I.M.S. regulars who debuted in episode 30.
