- Thouser was the name of the dog. Gai's robot dog is similar to AIBO by Sony. The box it came in shows it's a Hiden Intelligence Doggear model with the motto "Only Wan!" with wan being the sound of a puppy barking.
- In the credits, it lists new Thouser as played by aibo and old Thouser as played by AIBO ERS-111 / 38.
- During a couple scenes, it can be seen Project There written in English on screens and on the rocket.
