- The restaurant that Umeko and Sen eat at is actually owned by Umeko's actress Kikuchi Mika.
- When crossing Harimaya Bridge, Sen sings the song about a famous love story related to the bridge
- If it's the 20th anniversary of Tetsu joining the DekaRangers then this movie must take place mid July.
- Kurokawa Mei portrayed Mina in 555's Paradise Lost movie.
- Ridomiha is an anagram of green leaf (midori ha). Mokumys is short for Thursday night mystery (mokuyoubi mystery)
- Marple is named after the mystery character Miss Marple.
- Suit actors Fukuzawa Hirofumi, Mimura Kohji, and Hashimoto Keiko reprise the roles of DekaRed, Green, and Yellow.
- Tetsu's actor, Yoshida Tomokazu, is a member of the Kochi revitalization project. He invited Toei to film DekaRanger 20 in Kochi, hence the weird plugs in the middle of the movie.
- The old woman is played by Kamio Naoko who's DekaPink's suit actress here and in Tonbo-Ohger. She was the stunt double for Umeko and other characters during Deka, but DekaPink was originally played by Kojima Miho who portrayed the role until 10 years after in 2015.
- Mokumys stands in front of a statue for Makino Tomitaro, a famous botanist. She calls him Makino Tomi. Mokumys is a Rodomiha Seijin like the alien from Ep 06 of the series.
- The drug plant is Nehirumo is an anagram of Morphine (モルヒネ) in Japanese.
- Jiujisso seijin Rottomen is a reference to Ultraman alien Metron Seijin and Ultraman director Jissoji Akio
