- Takamichi is two years older than Muryou. Takamichi was adopted into Crystalia when Muryou was 15.
- Takamichi 宝路 means "path to treasure" while Muryou is a pun on "for free".
- When a couple is separated by the monster, their names are Minami and Koutarou. Minami Koutarou was the name of the main character in Kamen Rider Black.
