A giant beast hunter. Has the ability to read minds by touching people. And can create people based on such memories.
At the end of the episode, Bang Rey appears to join the DeathGalien. On the character page, Bang Rey is listed as a commander among the DeathGaliens.
He tends to say the phrase baribari (working hard, active, tearing/crunching sound) a lot.

During the appearance of "ghosts", Tusk mentions that the Japanese believe that ghosts appear in mid summer. This is a reference to the Bon Festival in which Japanese pay respect to the spirits of their ancestors.
Continuity - The Jyumans realize they never hear about Yamato's parents. The one time they ask, in episode 9, Uncle Mario changes the subject in a hasty manner. The only other time we hear about Yamato's parents is when he gets in a fight with one of them in a flashback. This causes him to run away and get in trouble, which is where he meets the birdman.
