Trivia
- Zi-O and Geiz both have "Rider" written across their eyes in stylized katakana. The message during the sponsor hints at this.
- The word written on Zi-O and Geiz's forehead is "Kamen" in a stylized font.
- Tsukuyomi uses a Faiz Phone X (ten), a parody on the iPhone X. When she fires it, little Phi/no symbols appear that knock people out.
- Sougo's birthday is April 28, 2000. Making him 18 years old.
- The background music has a middle eastern sound to it.
- Geiz refers top Sougo as Oma Zi-O (Oomajiou オーマジオウ). This might come form the kanji Oo (大) "great" or Ou (王) "king" and ma (魔) "demon". So it might mean "Great Demon Zi-O".
- It's probably also a pun on Oumagadoki/Witching time. The kanji are 逢魔時 which can be read as "Oumaji", so Oumajiou would be "King of the witching time" instead of "King of time".
- Another Build is similar to Another Agito in that that both are a somewhat more monstrous version of the original Rider.
- Timejacker is probably a portmanteau of "time" and "carjacker".
Actor Trivia
- Inukai Atsuhiro and Akaso Eiji reprise their roles from Build.
- Yokoyama Kazutoshi is a stunt actor who performed stunts for a few tokusatsu shows and movies. As an actor, he also played a couple of guest roles such as Tatsugami Kou / Leo Zodiarts on Kamen Rider Fourze.

This series are special short episodes that only members of the Toei Tokusatsu Fanclub can access. The full title is the Kamen Rider Zi-O Complementary Project (Hokan Keikaku).
Some claims that are made in 1.5. The short itself breaks the fourth wall and seems to poke fun at fans for asking these questions, so it's not clear whether these are real answers are just jokes:
- Sougo wonders if Oma Zi-O comes from demon king (ma-oh) being flipped around.
- He also claims that Zi-O is supposed to look like 20, but if that's the case, wouldn't the name Z-O be better?
- Tsukuyomi comes from "to read the moon" (tsuki wo yomu) which apparently makes her the "goddess of the almanac".
- Geiz himself wonders if his name is from something German. Before coming out, fans were trying to figure out what his name meant, with some theorizing it was a German word since Japanese like using loan words like that.
- Woz claims that Geiz means "king" since "mikado" means "imperial gates/emperor".
- Woz also claims that pharaoh means gates too, but it actually means "great house".
- When they complain that his name should be Gate instead of Gates, Woz claims that they Gates makes them sound more rich. This is a reference to Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft.
