Episode title "The Great Underground War" (地底大戦争) is based on 海底大戦争. [1]
Takamichi is two years older than Muryou. Takamichi was adopted into Crystalia when Muryou was 15.
- Takamichi 宝路 means "path to treasure" while Muryou is a pun on "for free".
When a couple is separated by the monster, their names are Minami and Koutarou. Minami Koutarou was the name of the main character in Kamen Rider Black.
In the background of the base is a sticker for "Perfect Performance And Physical" or PPAP. This was a meme created by Kosaka Daimaou who plays Muryou under the name Pikotaro.
