Trivia
- Tsukimi's name is basically the kanji for jellyfish (kurage 海月) flipped around. The kanji for kurage is "sea" and "moon".
- The drama airs on Monday, which is ideal since Monday is represented by the kanji "moon" in Japanese.
- Unlike the manga, Shuu is the younger brother in this series. In the original manga, it's Kuranosuke who's the younger brother.
- Kurara is actually named after Clara from Heidi of the Alps (pronounced Kurara). We keep it in Japanese because it's a pun on kurage (jellyfish) and there's a scene in the manga where Kurara is written on Tsukimi's shirt. The official English translation by Kodansha uses Clara though.
- According to the letter from the Ama~s to Mejiro-sensei, Shuu is 25 in the drama, and 30 in the manga.
- Kuranosuke's age is 26 according to the news.
- According to Tsukimi's wedding document, her birthday is September 23, 1997 , making her 20 years old in the drama. In the manga, Tsukimi declines alcohol saying that's she's not quite an adult, although 20 is the legal drinking age in Japan.
- Manga Hanamori loves Mercedes-Benz cars, but he loves Lexuses in the live action drama.
