Trivia
- The business card for Jellyfish says http://www.jelly-fish-official.com/ but the link doesn't lead anywhere.
- Shuu has a bandage with a jellyfish pattern on it. The jellyfish looks a lot like the drawing of Kurara from the manga.
- We learn that Shuu is 25 instead of 30 in the drama, Kuranosuke is 26, and Tsukimi is 20 and born on September 23, 1997 .
- Mayaya writes in Liu Bei Gentoku from the Three Kingdoms story as the official on the back of Tsukimi and Shuu's wedding application. For the date, instead of writing the current date, she writes in the date of Liu Bei's death.
- Chieko buries the deed in the backyard in a Hato Sablé cookies box. Hato Sablé is a popular cookie brand that's been around since 1868.
- When Chiyoko appears, Mayaya assumes she's a robot impersonation and presses her nose to return her to her original form. Banba notes it's a reference to the anime Parman 2.
- Inari confuses Fiance with Ou Yang Fei Fei who sings Love is Over.
- Mayaya's quote about not picking up the dead is from the period movie Ooedo Sousamou.
- R.Z.P.V. is a parody of RSVP.
Differences From the Manga
- This is when Tsukimi and Shuu go on their first date in the manga. In it, Tsukimi wears one of her Jellyfish designed dresses on the date. At the end of the date is when Shuu tells Tsukimi that he loves her. In the drama, Shuu confesses after the protest in the previous episode.
- There's also a subplot cut from the drama where Nisha and Hanamori go on a date and they run into Tsukimi and Shuu.
- In the manga, when Tsukimi nods yes to Shuu's proposal, they're alone on the stairs. In the drama, the crowd around them start clapping.
- In the manga, Kuranosuke congratulates Tsukimi on graduating from being an Ama~s. In the drama, his congratulation is more generic and less final.
- Before visiting Rina, Keiichirou gives Shuu a CD-rom full of photos of Kuranosuke to give to her.
- In the manga, instead of Inari finding the deed, it's Mayaya and Chiyoko in the garden during a rain storm, trying to put the koi fish back in the pond. Mayaya slips and accidentally reveals the cookie box.
- In the manga, Rina's husband Theo appears, but he's absent in the drama. Also, more of her backstory and why she left Kuranosuke is revealed in the manga.
