Mari gets a call from Murakami who requests her to return the Faiz Gear to Smart Brain. The Faiz Gear is later given to Kaidou to use.
When Mari was 8 years old, there was a fire at her apartment. She lost her parents on that day and she was adopted into the Ryuusei School by her adoptive father.
