Trivia
- Jyuoh comes from the Japanese kanji for "beast" and "king", forming the phrase "king of beasts".
- In the official spelling, the title is Zyuohger, perhaps a reference to ZyuRanger.
- Jyuman translates to beastman.
- There's a real game theme in this series. A lot of game visuals are seen in the enemies. The Jyuman's items seem like homages to Minecraft. And the uncle is named Mario like the famous plumber.
- There was a red eagle and blue shark in Sun Vulcan.
- Probably the first female playing a shark, but the was a previous blue ranger who was a dolphin in Liveman.
- Yellow Lion and HurricaneYellow are two examples of previous yellow lions.
- GaoWhite from another anniversary series was also a white tiger ranger.
- The Yamato part of Kazakiri Yamato is the name of old Japan. It was also the name of Geki's tribe in ZyuRanger.
- Kazakiri is the first part of the word Kazakiribane which means "flight feathers".
- Sela is named after Selachimorpha, the suborder name for sharks.
- Amu is named after Amur Tigers which are another name for Siberian Tigers. This is odd since most white tigers are Bengal tigers, although white Siberian Tigers are possible through mutation or breeding with Bengal Tigers.
- Mario's surname "Mori" means "forest".
- One theory for the villain name is that it's a combination of the words "death", "game", and "alien". The reason is that the villains seem to be game themed.
Actor Trivia
- Murakami Kohei who plays the Birdman was Kaixa in Kamen Rider 555.
- Inoue Kazuhiko who plays Genis was the voice of 009 in Cyborg 009, Shuri from Legend of Basara, and many other voices.
- Kotobuki Minako (Naria) also played Cure Diamond and Blue Rose from Tiger & Bunny.
- Nakata Jouji (Azauld) has played various toku voices, including Roshuo from Gaim, the narration in OOO, and Zaen from Gokaiger.
- Iwata Mitsuo (Kubar) was Itsuki from Initial D, and Roadbuster from Transformers Super Link.
