Definition: "Shadow ego" or "Shadow side of oneself"
A concept from the tokusatsu series Garo. The concept comes from Yin and Yang (or pronounced In and You in Japanese) where the Yin side represents the shadowy, more base aspects of humankind.
The representation of this concept is the Taijitu (the circle with the S line in the middle and two dots) that represent the harmony between the dark and light side.
