History

Joe Gibken is a swordsman and a former soldier of the Space Empire Zangyack. He was trained by his sempai Sid Bamick after his failure in training as a soldier. He was impressed after seeing the swordsman technique of his sempai. During a mission, Joe refused to execute a child and fled with the help of Sid who sacrificed himself by acting as a distraction. Joe is later attacked by Zangyack troops but Captain Marvelous jumps into the fray and fights alongside Joe. After the fight, Marvelous asks Joe to join him in searching for the Greatest Treasure and hands him a Mobirate and the GokaiBlue Ranger Key.
