The RideChemy cards transform Gotchard into the previous Kamen Riders. Like Zi-O and Revice, the Rider suits are completely new designs rather than reusing the existing suits.

The design of the Legend suit and the title logo are based on Decade.
In the beginning of this spin-off, the shape of the machine in development is based on the Decade Driver.
Before the spin-off title logo appears, the right side of Kamen Rider Legend's mask shows all the Kamen Riders (Kuuga up to Gotchard). This is a reference to the Decade opening credits where the left side of Kadoya Tsukasa's face shows the Heisei Kamen Rider masks.
The Decade teleportation effect can be seen as Houtarou is transported to meet Butler.
The Decade soundtracks can be heard throughout this spin-off.
Legend utilizes the RideChemy cards that have the power of the previous Kamen Riders much like Decade.
Legendriver is voiced by Mark Okita who voiced the Decade Driver.
Legend's transformation sequence is same as Decade's which the previous Kamen Rider logos project out in the middle of the sequence.
Like Decade, Legend transforms into previous Kamen Riders and the existing suits are reused.
The machine in the beginning serves as the closing episode in the same way the Decade Driver closes every Decade episodes.

A Dai Mazine is seen destroying the city when Butler shows Houtarou the basic activities.
Mass copies of Kasshiin attacks the Houou Tower. In this spin-off they're renamed as Handred.
Butler introduces Kamen Rider Legend in the same way as Woz who gave introductions to Zi-O.
Legend bares similarity to Grand Zi-O, both Rider suits are golden color while utilizing the power of the previous Kamen Riders as the basic.
Boss holds the Barlckxs RideWatch in his hand.
