- Kazuma's family name is changed to Kendate 剣立 from Kenzaki 剣崎. The kanji for Ken/blade is still the same.
- Sakuya's family name is changed to Hishigata 菱形 from Tachibana. Hishigata is Japanese for "diamond-shaped".
- Mutsuki's family name is changed to Kuroba, because it sounds like Clover.
- Hajime's family name is changed to Shijou 四条 which means "four lines" or "four articles".
- Kamata's name is a hint that he is a mantis, since the Japanese word for Mantis is Kamakiri.
- The Paradoxa Undead is shown for the first time in Kamen Rider Decade. In Kamen Rider Blade, Paradoxa only appears already sealed in the card, Evolution Paradoxa.
