Tensouki (天装鬼) is named after Goseiger's title name, "Tensou" (天装).
Editing goof: When they cut from the slide to a close up on Tarou, Master goes from catching the noodles to sitting down in the next cut.
Taro the dog returns again. Haruka mistakes it for Inu Brother. The dog owner is played by Shimozono Ayumi who is Oni Sister's suit actress.
This episode has a lot of homages to Black Condor from Jetman. Ryuuji is singing Black Condor's character song Honoo no Condor. Black Condor also temporarily quits his team in episode 31, and some of the lines about hating natto and men are also from him. The writer for DonBrothers, Inoue Toshiki, also was the main writer for Jetman.
