Episode 01

Minato is reading The Fog Comes, Again (霧が来る、再び). Apparently a sequel to The Fog Comes(霧が来る), Hasegawa Keiichi's debut writing credit for Ultraman Tiga. Hasegawa is also the writer for these shorts.
Atropos keeps reference Meitantei Conan/Case Closed. The child with the adult's intellect and the "There is only one truth" are both catchphrases from that anime. The door closing sound right after Kajiki freaked out about copyright was the sound of the title screen door at the start of every Case Close episode.
In the preview, Atropos saying there'll be plenty of service is a reference to the way Misato ended the preview segments in the anime Evangelion.
That line about a certain star spoiling something was about our star of the star of the star, Kan Hideyoshi (Geats). He spoiled that Ace was a reincarnating character in the production press meeting before the show even started.[1]
This was written on the blackboard. The first line is an adapted version of the latter idiom:
- 石の上にも三重練成，千里の道もがっちゃから (Even a stone will get warm if triple polymerization was used(?). A journey of a thousand miles begins with a gotcha.)
- 石の上にも三年, 千里の道も一歩から (Even a stone will get warm if a person sits on it for three years. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.)

Atropos nearly rips off The Kindaichi series famous quote by invoking the name of Geryon the way Kindaichi invokes his grandfather.
