Crow reveals that Taishi is what he calls Eiji. Eiji's full name is Busujima Eiji, which means "poison island".
- Akari in Japanese means "light". Eiji literally says that she's "the light of his life" at one point in this episode.
Jiiru says that Eiji's title is "Evil Bones Knight Giru" (邪骨騎士・義流). Giru means "Flow of Justice".
Eiji says that Crow was once a fledgling, which fits with Crow's bird theme.
Director trademark: This episode features Eguchi Hiromi as a guest star. She has also starred in Red Requiem, and had 2-3 roles in Makai Senki.
In episode 13, Crow talks about how excited he is to see his Taishi. But Eiji never showed up to the gathering because he's actually Crow and Raiga's enemy.
- In the same episode, Crow talks about how much stronger Eiji is than himself. In response, Raiga says he looks forward to meeting him, which doesn't happen until this episode.

Mayuri walks in a room full of curtains. She reaches down to untie a ribbon around her leg. But after a few steps, she's tied up by ribbons.
