Kurogane Spanner is an alchemist who transforms into the masked warrior, Valvarad and later Kamen Rider Valvarad.

Trivia

• According to the TV Asahi website, Valvarad is not a Rider but rather, a warrior whose suit and armor are designed by Spanner himself to counter the Malgam.
• Being a warrior-like psuedo-Rider, this makes Valvarad similar to Mashin Chaser from Drive, as well as Night Rogue and Blood Stalk from Build.
• Valvarad shares a wrench aesthetic with Kamen Rider Kikai from Zi-O.
