Story

  • Four years ago, Blade seals the last Undead, Joker.
  • Four years later, the Undead are released once again with three new Riders were assigned to stop the menace.
  • Tachibana and Karasuma were going to seal the Rouser Cards away. However, they were ambushed by the Albino Joker at the cost of killing Karasuma and releasing about half of the Undead.
    • Both Kenzaki and Mutsuki lose their ability to transform because their Category Ace were released during Albino Joker's ambush.
  • Tachibana learned a new card was created through all four Category King cards. It is relevant to an ancient relief that he discovered in Thailand.
  • The Undead targets Amane because her father accidentally opened the door of the ancient relief and he would have been the host of the new card. With the death of her father, Amane is his replacement.
  • Shimura is revealed to be the Albino Joker. He intends to release the Jashin Fourteen through the ancient relief.

Kamen Riders

Three new Rider systems were created on Tachibana's order to stop the Undead menace. These Riders' combat style are based on Blade, Garren, and Leangle.

Trivia

  • The movie serves as an epilogue for the TV series which means someday Kenzaki will fight against Hajime.
  • With the death of Karasuma, Tachibana runs BOARD in his place.
  • Blade and Leangle's Category Ace were released except Garren's Category Ace.
  • Amane becomes a naughty girl because she misses Hajime after he was sealed away by Kenzaki during their final battle.
  • The newbies get obsessed with their Rider power. They aren't pleased that Kenzaki and Mutsuki were able to return to their Rider roles.
  • Hirose was about to be married to a man, but she had to give up the wedding when she learns the identity of the Albino Joker.

The Theatrical Cut version of the movie was re-released in Blu-ray in 2009 due to Toei's decision to embrace into HD quality. However, the Director's Cut version was not part of the release at that time which left it remained in DVD format. The THE MOVIE Complete Blu-ray was eventually released on May 8, 2024 (2024-05-08). This release includes the Director's Cut version and the movie's bonus contents in HD quality for the first time in years as well as repacking the 2009 HD of the Theatrical Cut.
